Service of Process

All non-eviction related matters are handled by our Special Services Unit. 

Small Claims:

Our special services unit handles the receipt, preparation, filing, assignment and tracking of all small claim matters. 

After execution of service of the claim, our staff will handle any required mailings to comply with ORCP 7(D).

Although we can not guarantee when service will be completed, our tracking procedure ensures that there is diligence in attempting service. Status requests are handled as a priority between you, our office and our field agents.    

Other Service of Process:

Our special services unit also handles all attorney related documents, Summons & Complaints, Notices, Subpoena's, Orders, etc.

We will handle the service request based on the clients needs and direct request and it will be done based on applicable law.

We handle service of process throughout Oregon and nationwide with our network of field agents.


Action Services does not and will not provide legal advice or services, engage in the practice of law, assess validity of termination notices or the possibility of defenses or counterclaims

Writ of Garnishments: 

We will prepare and have the Writ of Garnishment issued by our contract attorney and then handle service pursuant to Oregon Statute. The Writ is an order and has the same effect whether issued by the court or an attorney.

Our standard is that all garnishments are completed within 10 days of receipt of the request. Although this may vary based on scheduling of our staff and our contract attorney.
